By expanding we could enrich their lives by allowing them to stretch their legs further than they have access to.

Bobcats enjoy venturing high and running across platforms to watch visitors and play with their fellow cats. As you see, the naming of our enclosures has significance, and Mosquito is no different, named after Moses, Otis, and Quisto, the first three inhabitants! In addition to updates and upgrades, we would like to expand their playground areas as well. The Mosquito enclosure was built in 2010 and currently houses three bobcats- Simon, Moses, and Otis. Not only are these 20+ year-old enclosures in need of updates and upgrades, but we also need to add more space. They currently enjoy lounging in the sun and playing with their large toys on the playground. Kenya/Kiro are currently home to our sweet Tabatha and Zachariah, both “Ligers”. Some of you will know this enclosure, playground, and pool as Lambert’s first home when he came to In-Sync, and later home to “The Kids” (Pepsi, Ukaidi, and Athena). The Kiro enclosure, named after a white tiger that was rescued from even worse conditions than Kenya’s, was built the following year in 1999. Named after the 3-week-old female Bengal tiger that Vicky rescued from horrific conditions, the Kenya enclosure has served us, and many cats at In-Sync well. In-Sync Exotics was officially founded as a 501(c)3 nonprofit in 2000, however, our first formal “enclosure” consisting of a den area and the playground was built in 1998. Because they decided to separate, we need to provide them with a new enclosure, where they could still be able to physically see each other and talk but have their own spaces. While lemurs are generally found in a troop of multiple lemurs, Mitzy and Loki decided they wanted to be individual lemurs. Mitzy and Loki were “married” after a period of time, but sadly their “marriage” was not to be a forever story. Unfortunately, both were privately owned and no longer able to be cared for in a proper manner. Both Mitzy and Loki have resided with In-Sync since 2015. Have you visited In-Sync Exotics and heard us mention our “honorary cats?” If not, they are also known as Mitzy and Loki, our ring-tailed lemurs.
